January 22 2008 --- Arrgh! Wordpress.

It very annoyingly appears that something went wrong with my blog. It’s order, that is. For some strange reason the earliest entries are shown on top. Drives me nuts. It appears as if I last updated in 2005!

March 10 2007 --- Food Club

Haven’t written for a while now, have I?

Well, just a small Neopets bit today:
Food Club is your friend.

This message was brought to you by a recent 300k win. Yay!

June 16 2006 --- Soon…

So, you know what’s coming on the 18th of June? Season 5 of The Dead Zone!

TDZ is an absolute fave of mine and probably the only good supernatural show the summer TV season brings, so yeah, I can hardly wait. Anyone can suggest something else that’s cool and supernatural that airs this summer?

(Speaking of supernatural TV series, what’s the deal with Supernatural’s season finale? Too creepy. I never saw that one coming…)

April 17 2006 --- US Television, I Don’t Get It

I’m feeling better already, my flu or whatever it was is almost gone, and there’s a new episode of Medium coming out today, so all is good!

Speaking of TV, I don’t understand how the TV industry works in US, it doesn’t make any sense.

I don’t even remember when the last episode of Medium came out, it was probably a month ago… It’s very weird how they have reruns come between new episodes, and the new episodes are released quite erratically. The strangest thing is when shows get pulled off mid season, and some episodes aren’t aired at all.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Why would US viewers put up with such a thing?

April 8 2006 --- Sick and Miserable

I’m sick.

I don’t know how I managed to go though the winter without ever getting sick, just to catch some nastiness now, when it’s not even cold outside anymore.

My throat hurts and my head aches and my Mom keeps bugging me about spring cleaning. Today, I just feel miserable.

April 3 2006 --- Love of Cookies

The best thing about Pesach is peanut cookies.

Here in Israel, it’s against the law to sell leavened food at Pesach, and dry old matza isn’t exactly tasty. What IS tasty then? Peanut cookies. Awesome cookies, made entirely of ground peanuts, with small peanut chunks inside them!

Some genious came up with those Kosher for Pesach cookies several years ago, and since then, they’re sold everywhere this time of year. Too bad they’re only being sold this time of year, I’d gladly have them all year long.

March 29 2006 --- Funny? Not.

I can’t stand people who tear others down and then add insult to injury by claiming that the offended party has no sense of humor and is taking things out of proportions.

Flaming and criticism, that I can understand. Some are just asking for it. But claiming that the victim of vicious mockery should be all “haha” about it? Yeah right. I’m sure most of those who’re just bursting with sense of humor when they’re insulting someone else, wouldn’t find much to laugh about if the joke were on them.

This post was brought to you from the land of the random thoughts.

March 27 2006 --- My New ODP Category

I’ve got approved for a new category at ODP, to edit. Yayness!

It’s a fun category too, manga related, with high quality sites. The other category I edit, Neopets related, has mostly sites with a lifespan of a year or so, made by 12 year olds, with their favorite hosting places being geocities and freewebs.

The change is most refreshing. Not that I complain, but editing a category with sites that have large amounts of time and effort put into them, is definitely more fun!

March 21 2006 --- Troubles with the Reader

I’m annoyed beyond all belief with my Adobe Reader.

It’s a nice program, a “got to have” for every computer right? Well, ever since I upgraded to version 7, it gives me all kinds of trouble.

The worst, I can’t open pdf files from the browser, it spits out some kind of weird error message about the files being corrupt. Version 6 of the reader used to open them just fine.

Also, it keeps pushing all those updates on me! The installation grew in size and is now taking up 75 MB of space. Today I was offered a Japanese pack. I don’t need 10 megs of Japanese fonts. Really, I don’t.

Tried to install good old version 6. Met the following message:

Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup will now terminate.

More functional? Nuh. I think they meant more buggy.

March 18 2006 --- Cancelled

Just found out that one of my favorite TV shows, The Collector, got the axe earlier this month.

I absolutely hate that! The Collector, which always had been a fun show to watch, was actually improving lately; Season 3 is so great both in character development and plot twists. Can’t imagine why it would go down like this.

I’m feeling sad and only cheered up by conjuring an image in my head of some Collector fans, with their turned crusifixes, protesting in front of the studios. Hope it happens. The show deserves that at least…
